Artist’s Note: ”Westerlies’ is an atmospheric seascape inspired by my love of sailing.
I adore sailing and watching yachts sailing by. I love seeing the changing sails in tandem with the change of the direction of the wind. And as the light begins to fall, the mood of the sea becomes more intriguing and atmospheric and this is my capture in this painting ‘Westerlies’.
Painted in MOD ART Studios in The Burren, Fanore, Co Clare overlooking the Wild Atlantic Ocean in the West of Ireland.
