Artist’s Note: ”Westerlies’ is an atmospheric seascape inspired by my love of sailing.
I adore sailing and watching yachts sailing by and seeing the changing sails in tandem with the change in direction of the wind. And as the light falls, the scene becomes more intriguing and atmospheric and this is my capture in this new painting ‘Westerlies’.
Painted in MOD ART Studios in The Burren, Fanore, Co Clare overlooking the Wild Atlantic Ocean in the West of Ireland.
