Artist’s Note: ‘Wild Atlantic Shores’ was inspired by my love of The Burren National Park in the West of Ireland. 

This energetic painting is of the crashing waves of the Wild Atlantic Ocean landing on Fanore Beach at high tide.

‘Wild Atlantic Shores’  is the 5th painting of a new series of 8 paintings from The Burren and Cliffs of Moher series. 

This original painting has a layer of Fanore sand in the waves which gives the painting an interesting 3D effect. Along with the texture and colour there is great vibrancy and energy to this contemporary seascape.
