This energetic painting was inspired by the Atlantic waves crashing ashore on the huge boulders at Fanore Beach on the Wild Atlantic Way in Co. Clare. After a stormy night on the West of Ireland last Summer, I went for a beautiful morning walk along Fanore Beach and up on top of the huge sand dunes. The crashing waves were both loud and invigorating and inspired the oil painting of ‘Wild Atlantic Waves’
