Artist’s note: Inspiration for this tranquil oil painting came from my love of Kerry with its stunningly beautiful mountains and lakes.
I have climbed the famous Macgillycuddy’s Reeks and Ireland’s highest mountain Carrauntoohil, which nearly killed me, but the incredible views from the top were well worth the strenuous climb and are imprinted in my memory forever.
This idyllic Irish painting, emerged from the views from the tops of the range overlooking the tranquility of the landscape below and encompassing the spectacular Killarney Lakes and National Park.
